FREN 344 - French & Francophone Cultures |
A study of aspects of Francophone cultures. Topics include language and communication; marriage, and gender roles; immigration and colonization; socio-political institutions; and the arts. Materials are drawn from novels, short stories, plays, newspapers, films, music, and video documentation. Conducted entirely in French. Prerequisite: French 202 with a grade of C+ or better, placement, or equivalent. Alternate years.
